About Moor View Retreat
Moor View Retreat consists of two wooden shepherd's huts in the Devon countryside on the outskirts of Morchard Bishop. Each offers open-plan living with a king-size bed, a well-equipped kitchen, a large walk-in shower room, and a private deck with furniture and a wood-fired hot tub.
You are close to Shobrooke Park in Crediton, the Barley Valley Nature Reserve near Exeter, and Dartmoor National Park. In the village, The London Inn serves fresh food using local produce, and Church Street Stores is handy for stocking up. Exeter's cathedral city is a short drive for dining and shopping.
Both the North Devon coast and South Devon's English Riviera are within reach. On the coast you will find plenty of places to eat, including the Exe River Cafe at Exmouth. A boat taxi to the floating restaurant on the Exe estuary is a memorable outing (book well ahead).
Whatever you and your guest choose to do in Devon, Moor View Retreat is a peaceful base to come home to.
